Per Poehl

Per Poehl joined Greentech Avenue Inc. in 2009 and represents Greentech Avenue in the European Market. He has been active in the field of Green Tech business since 2005 and supports projects with a focus on biomass. He was responsible for setting up biodiesel projects in the USA, energy crops in Brazil, and a second generation ethanol project in Europe. Per has an extensive network of relationships which connect him with the broadest pool of potential biomass consumers in Europe such as connections with major European technology providers, utility companies, and feedstock traders.
Prior to his involvement in the Clean Tech industry, Per was working with a restructuring and strategy consulting company. In his function as a Senior Project Manager, he was in charge of several projects for mid-cap companies, as well as for international corporations and groups in restructuring sales and marketing divisions. In 1999, he joined a private equity company, the subsidiary of a German private bank.
Per enjoys fishing, plays hockey and golf, and is a supporter of the European soccer team Werder Bremen.
