Wei Zuo BCom, MBA
Director of China Operations
Wei has worked in the import and export business as a Senior Manager in China for 15 years and deals with telecom products, electronics, textiles, construction materials, machinery, bamboo products, etc. Wei partners up with customers from North America, Europe, South America and many Asian countries.
In his role as business analyst in United Nations ESCAP, Wei successfully implemented several trade facilitation projects for Asian countries to develop local economies. Also, as an advisor, he supported Chinese organizations and trade delegations such as the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Unicom, SINOPEC, Beijing Construction Engineering Group, and others in international trade missions to North America and Europe.
In 2002, based on his knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Business Development, Logistics, and Finance, he co-founded a firm in China that provides value-added business solutions to the recycling and construction industry.
With a Diploma in Engineering, BCOM and MBA from UBC in Canada, Wei possesses intensive knowledge of international trade and solid experience in the Chinese and North American markets.
In his spare time, Wei is a classical music fan, passionate swimmer and hiker, and enjoys exploring BC‘s great outdoors with his wife and family.
